O'reilly tend to be fairly good in my opinion, but I wouldn't depend on any textbook as far as PHP goes. Ok to learn PHP initially but their are alot of things you have to learn about PHP what textbooks tend not to cover in terms of security... IE, how to prevent SQL or PHP injections. Infact alot of books do teach a bad habit or two... but for initial learning it should be ok.
