HI. I have a Smoothwall Server with 2 NIC's. One for the external network(192.168.35.x) and one for the Internal network(192.168.0.x). How do i give access to a External IP address to a share on a internal WinXP Computer?(The share is' C:') On what port. How will my Port Forwarding look?I can't get this to work?I also want to be able to ping the internal computer.
Basically it works by allowing you to connect to your secure network from outside the firewall and be given access to the secure network as if you were on the inside. It can be done more than one way, but it isnt too complex. You should google it and look it up, its easy to configure from what Ive read.
VPN - Virtual Private Networking. A means of connecting a local LAN A or client computer to local LAN B without realizing there is an internet inbetween. You can find lots of stuff by searching the web.
I want to grand only sertan IP's access to ADSL internet, which is on the "GREEN" network. So only sertain IP's on the RED network must get access to the internet.
GREEN NETWORK: Local office network with ADSL Router. (192.168.35.x)
RED: External LAN Network. (192.168.35.x)
Is this possible. They are both on the same IP range.
