gb controller running at 100. Marvell intergrated in ASUS A8V Deluxe


a bit of a linux newbie over here. But I am trying my best, and I think I am doing nicely considering I haven't had it installed for long at all

anyways, my motherboard has an intergrated gb ethernet controller

0000:00:0a.0 Ethernet controller: Marvell Technology Group Ltd. 88E8001 Gigabit Ethernet Controller (rev 13)

the motherboard is

my switch doesn't reconise the connection as a gb though. how do I get it to start running at a gb?
