Unhappy "Function not imlemented" error in call to "sem_open()"

Dear All,

I am getting the "Function not imlemented" runtime error in my Linux C++ program at a call to "sem_open()". I have built the program linking it to "libpthread.so" and "librt.so".

Can any one help this Linux novice out of the said difficulty?

Thanx and regards.
