Question FTP stopping at 8K file size

RH7.3, min install (no GUI), FTP from or to this machine can handle only 8K file size. Slows and stops at 8K. Firewall off. Any ideas?:

I've had that happen to me, though it wasn't 8k... it was a little larger, and it usually didn't completely stop. It would go from 100Mb/sec to a few bytes second....

Turned out the wrong NIC driver was loaded by default from RedHat.
