FTP Problem
 
Im using VSFTPD on Fedora Core 4, I can ftp in to my server but I can't see any files or folders in the /Var directory but when I ssh in yo my system and go to /Var directory and do a ls I can see all the files and folders. Why can't I see the folders and files on ftp?

check the vsftpd config file to see if this folder is forbidden

Are you sure that you're not chrooted and looking in /home/yourname/var?
