FTP Folder accessible by multiple users question
I am currently running proftpd on dapper drake (no GUI installed, command line only.) I have multiple ftp user accounts which are all mapped to respective folders.
My question is how can I make a new shared folder that 3 out of the 8 users can access (read & write) without them having to log in again.
Example:
user1 maps to user1 ftp folder
user2 maps to user2 ftp folder
user3 maps to user3 ftp folder
I would like to make a "shared" folder that only user1, user2 and user3 can access without them having to log in again.
Would I just make user1, user2 and user3 and the shared folder part of the same group?
I didn't know what the best approach to this was.
Thanks for any help/direction on this.
