ftp: connect: No route to host
 
I have FC2 indtalled and cannot FTP - I get the message:

ftp: connect: No route to host

after I am llogged on

Its just a default installation - I dual boot XP and that's fine - I can browse fine

It will be helpful if you post more info here. Post the outputs of ifconfig, route -n. Also tell us IP of the ftp site you are trying to access.

Turn Passive Off?
 
Do you get this after you connect to an FTP server?

If not, more details will be necessary. Could be a firewall issue.

Consider entering the command passive to turn PASV off once you are logged in.

This has resolved the error for me in the past. Although I have only run into this during linux rescue mode.
