Forwarding a port using iptables

Hey guys, hope all is well.

I have a linux box which uses iptables as a firewall and does dhcp for all my network, on that network i have a 2k3 server with an internal ipaddress of 192.168.0.249.

I want to configure iptables so that when i do remote desktop to that linux box it will forward me to the .249 system. so i can do remote desktop from home. Can you plz give me what to put on the iptables?

thanks for the help.

Code:

iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -p tcp --dport 3389 -j DNAT --to 192.168.0.249
& make your windows box to have this linux box as its gateway.

Apart from that you got to have other firewall rules as well(not for the purpose mentioned above). Please revert back with your iptables script (if you have any).
