Unhappy flow control


Good Morning

Can any one please expalin me what is this below error related to...

Sun May 4 07:36:12 AST [nfsd.tcp.close.idle.notify:warning]: Shutting down idle connection to client (10.xx.xx.xx) where transmit side flow control has been enabled. There are 15 outstanding replies queued on the transmit buffer.

I have a machnie which is been installed with RHEl 4.3 .How to i check flow control in linux machnie.

PLease help me what is the above error related to.

Do you have NFS connections to that box? It looks like you do and that they're idle and being shut down. Can you check the other boxes logs and see if there is any more info there?

the above error is shown on NFS server.

Can you please tell me how to see flow control in linux desktop machines.

how do i check the network speed of the desktop machnies which r connected to servers..

PLease help me out.

I got the flow control error in the log message which is like mentioned below....

kernel: tg3:eth0:flow control is on TX & on for RX
kernel : PCienp:acpi_PCiehprm:\_SB_.PCT0 evaluate_BBN fail=0x5


can you please tell me what is this related to....

i want to check where the flow control option is in linux....

please help me...
