Firefox popups for completed downloads
 
I've used Firefox for a long time in Linux. I've noticed that the Win Firefox version pops up a window by the clock that informs you when a download completes or if the weather forecast has been updated in forcastfox. Can the Linux Firefox version do this?

Type "about:config" in Firefox, then "downl" in the Filter, then locate and set "browser.download.manager.showAlertOnComplete" to "true" or check the tickbox in Edit > Prefs > Downloads > Show ...
