file-max problem I think

Hi Everyone,

I have a Redhat linux 7.2 box with approx: 120 users.

That software we are using opend up lots of files, when I cat the file-nr I get the following:

13033 1101 24000
then I can aslo get this
13033 194 24000
this is when the system is peeking.

My question is , is there a way to file the number of file in use.

Thanks
RH
