Fedora + Speedtouch USB + Tiscali DSL


i have Fedore Core 1 (2.4.22.x)

ans a Speedtouch USB Modem which is included in this kernel.
but it is not recognised from fedora as modem...

how do i get this work?

Do I need the VPI/VCI numbers only für pppoATM but also for pppoE ?
