Hello
I downloaded and installed VNC and i can connect to my server but is it possiple to get it to show everything as it would on the actual server?

Currently it only shows the background which looks like its got X but i can only do things from a console box.

You may just have a differnet window manager set up for vnc - take a look at your startup file in ~/.vnc and replace the
line that starts the current apps with those of your pleasing.
