Fedora Core 3 - Determining IP information failed

Hi all,

I just installed Fedora Core 3 succesfully, but it seems that determining IP information fails.

The following information is displayed during startup:

Determining IP information ... failed; no link present. Chech cable?

The cable and the network card has been checked. The network card is a HomePNA compatible card with AMD chipset. It seems that the card has been succesfully identified.

Any idea how to solve this issue?

manualy adding the ip? :)

The IP address is determined by DCHP (dynamic IP address). Is there any way I can solve the current IP address?

This is really annoying bug, because otherwise Fedora seems to be a perfect solution.
