fedora 6 NIC configuration

I just installed fedora 6 on my computer and can't get the internet to connect. I have tried to connect my NIC, but i don't know which one to use. I mean, i know which one i have, but it's not in the list that i can choose from. I don't know how to get it to pick up the NIC or my wireless card. If anyone could help, that would be great. :)

Details on the hardware is needed. Brand, Model, version, slot connection.
Lots of hardware info can be found in the HCL here. At the top or to the right.

cant find

I looked in the HCL and couldn't find my NIC, I have a Realtek RTL8168/8111 PCI-E Gigabit ethernet NIC. It shows a r8169, which i thought might be the same, but linux doesn't even show that on my list of ethernet adaptors. Don't really know what to do, i'm really new at this. Also, couldn't find my wireless adaptor Gigabyte GN-WI01GS mini PCI WLAN Card (turbo). If that would be easier to help out with then, by all means, help me with that instead, but i have no clue. Also, i've noticed when shutting down my system that the hpssd always fails to stop, i dont know if that has anything to do with it, but i thought it was worth mentioning.

I hope you can tell me something from this info. I know the second one is the wireless. I don't know why the access is denied or how to change that. Or where to continue from here.
