export Display


how to use export display command to access remote machine?
are there any other methods to do this?

Log into the remote machine, and type in "export DISPLAY=<ip address of local machine:0>" That's it. But you need to have X server software running on your local machine, and have it set to accept incoming connections.

If using ssh to connect to the remote machine, you can try the -X option.

The ssh server on the remote machine should have X-forwarding enabled for that to be successful.
