Ethernet and Wireless

hello all,
I am porting android in arm board OMAPL138. I have to transfer my kernel image through tftp. I set my host ip address and target ip address. While using network cable to connect target board, wireless will be down. In case i want to search any websites, i have to go for wireless. Without unplugging network cable how can i swith over to wireless. I can use wireless only after unplugging network cable..there must be a way..what is that??!! Guide me..

Hi -

1. I assume your workstation (e.g. a Linux or Windows PC) has the Android SDK, your compiler and internet access. Correct?

2. Why not just use wireless from your workstation (so you have Internet and anything else you want), and an Ethernet/Crossover cable for your workstation::target communications?

3. If you don't have wireless and you've only got one port in your workstation - why not just buy a second NIC for the workstation? It'll cost less than $10.00USD, and it should completely solve the problem (if wireless doesn't already solve it for you).

IMHO .. PSM
