Eth1.0000 vs Eth1:1
Hi,
My question is simple I think. I'd like to know the difference between Eth1.0000 and Eth1:1. Those two informations are come from a Red Hat server dedicated for PBX. Many thanks in advance for your help. Regards, |
Not sure of the Eth1.0000 you are mentioning. Where do you see this?
As for the eth1:1 which I assume is lower case would mean an aliasing IP. To see if that is the case run the command ' /sbin/ifconfig -a ' and post the results. Brian |
