Eth0 & Eth1 boot start Up FAILED..

Hello,
I have SuSE 9.0 installed, very good distro..
I installed the new Kernel 2.6.7 replacing my starting version 2.4..
My PC has 2 ethernet cards installed:
_ 1 Intel PRO 100 VE integrated
_ 1 LinkSys PCI.

With the new kernel the 2 interfaces didn't come UP..
FAILED is shown when the boot process is triying to configure
the ethernet cards.

They are recognized by system..

Can everybody help me in findind solution??

Thank You in advance! Ciao! ;o))

Maybe it has to do with how you installed this new kernel. Did you install the kernel modules and headers also?
To my knowledge, the 9.0 series won't upgrade to 2.6.x.
