I have Red hat Linux 7.2 I have setup my machine with ftp, http , and telnet access, and all works fine. (I have a cable modem, and it's ok by my ISP to run servers) I signed up at dhs.org and it points to my ip address. When try to send mail from another system, an error email comes back telling me that the connection is referred, refused! so if I try "telnet jasonbishop.dhs.org smtp" from another system, if will tell me connection refused! but on my system, if i type "telnet localhost smtp" it will be ok! How can I setup the mail server to accept requests besides local? Can anyone help?
