When there are errors, but there's transmission the first thing to check is the hardware part. Check all plugs, cables etc twice.

Try replacing the NIC's. (You do have a spare one, don't you?)
If you have some diagnostics on a floppy that came with the NIC, try using them.

Network Interface Card.

I don't know how you checked they were ok, but if you didn't replace them, do that now.

After checking nics, if no effect, use another piece of network cable.

Could you verify link negotiation? (use "mii-tool" and "mii-diag")
Best is to have same thing in both sides (100 Mbps Full Duplex if possible !).

If possible, do not let "autonegotiation" but force NIC on both sides.

Bye

i have replaced the network cable. i must test another NICs !

mii-tool dont work because he say : eth0 : 10 Mbit, half duplex, no link

mii-diag is not installed in my system.

but i'm going to force the Full Duplex.

Thx you !

You obtained "no link" it means you have a problem !
Try to put both systems on the same network negotiation (100 Full Duplex if possible) or at least autonegotiation, but never on different conditions (as 10 Mbit Half Duplex on one side and 100 Full Duplex on the other side).

After this, if it still doesn't work, try to replace the hardware (NiC, cable).

Bon courage ;-) !
