error with rsync

Keep getting this error with rsync, the sync will work sometimes, very odd.

rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(359)
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (9839 bytes received so far) [receiver]

All that means is tha the connection was lost or it couldn't connect in the first place.

There's something wrong with the command & options you are running for rsync,

Please post your command with options.

Please use the option rsync -e ssh

That will fix the problem :-)
