error while compiling madwifi

Hi,
While compiling madwifi-0.9.4 on RH9 I am getting following erros :

[root@machine02 madwifi-0.9.4]# make
Checking requirements... ok.
Checking kernel configuration... ok.

make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/user1/madwifi-0.9.4/ath'
make: *** [modules] Error 1

I have installed kernel source in the directory /usr/src/linux-2.4.20-8.
Does anybody know reason for failure?
Regards,
Girish

It looks like the main problem is that it is looking for a directory named "/usr/src/build" which is unlikely to exist. Without downloading the source and looking for myself, I do not know why it would be looking for kernel source in such a strange place.
