error "unknown host" in Browser


hi everyone

i m using fedora 2
i m trying to connect using KPPP
i get connected but get error as "unknown host" in Konqourer n in mozilla
net thro' windows works perfectly

plz help me

you'ev presumably got no dns servers. are they listed in /etc/resolv.conf? can you manually enter them? can you hit any website by IP alone? one of google's IP's is 216.239.37.99. can you ping it?
