Encryption Algorithm for TCP Stack
I was wondering if a package for encrypting all TCP traffic between one or more computers exists and if anyone uses it successfully!

Yes, 'OpenSSL' is the most widely used (and also the most widely hated). GNU TLS is another option, but it will only work with clients which support TLS.

OpenSSL only encrypt sessions for services that have it compiled in and enabled. I suppose you could say stunnel is a way of doing that for arbitrary traffic. You could also use ssh port-forwarding, or setup a real VPN. What the OP is asking about generically is really a VPN.
