Enable/Disable ICS on XP from LINUX box.
Hi,
I am a 5 hour user of linux and I am impressed.
I do have a question. I am on ethernet LAN with two pcs.
PC 1 (windows XP sp2) - not mine - is connected to cable internet and shares it through ICS.
PC 2 is the new LINUX install and is mine.
Before on PC 2 I had windows XP and I used the shared ICS. I could enable/disable the connection from my pc through Network Connections. The owner of PC 1 preffers that it is disconnected while not in use.
How can I achieve the same on my LINUX? Can I have an icon on task bar that will allow me to do anable/disable the internet connection on the PC 1?
thanks
