e-mail address redirect?

Hi all,

I want e-mail sent to postmaster@bartlett-family.net to go to chris@bartlett-family.net. I run sendmail. How is this possible? Please let me know. Thanks a million!!!

Chris

on sendmail, best bet is to filter it through procmail, or just set an alias in /etc/aliases, e.g.

postmaster: chris

Thx Acid,

Worked like a charm! I did, however, have to restart the sendmail daemon. I appreciate it!

yeah should have said that. You should have just been able to run newaliases to make sendmail refresh the table.

You are becoming the Sendmail guru aren't ya? :) Pretty soon cjwsb, you'll be able to write your own book on setting it up. Hope you'll help me here pretty soon when I start asking ;) :D

Cool

LOL... I dunno about an expert! Here's a good qoute for you, Chad... One that I have liked for a long time and use to describe myself:

I'm getting a little less dumb everyday!

Thanks for the vote of confidence!

toss it in /etc/alias or a .forward in the home directory
