Duke Arch install pings router but wont connect to internet

Okay so I've reacently installed Arch on my desktop and when I went to update pacman I noticed it wasn't able to connect. After monkeying around, I've managed to get it to where the computer can ping the router and other computers on the network, but it wont connect to the internet still!

I'm not sure what's wrong. Here's what I have in rc.conf right now

INTERFACES=(lo eth1)

gateway="default gw 192.168.1.1"
ROUTES="gateway"

Any ideas?

I had a similar problem when I installed a new router. I solved it by specifying the name servers used by my ISP. I used a GUI front end to do this, but ultimately it comes down to editing your /etc/resolv.conf file.
