Hello, i run ubuntu 6.0.1 amd64 bit with kernel vrsion 2-6-15-26
I cannot configure my sagem fast 800 usb modem to run.When I install the drivers and then trying to execute eaglectrl -d and -w is comes back with an error : unknown error 512 cannot send settings to /proc/usb/002/004

1.Does anybody knows what this problem is?
2.is there a way to install sagem on my current system?
I also tryied (from no deb packages)to ./configure,make,make install but makealso gave me error.
This is causing me major problem because i have to run windows so as to have internet access.And what i don't understand is why linux has so many problems with drivers..?
