I have an ISA NE 2000 compatable NIC, using it to connect to Ameritech DSL, I tried the pppoe from roaringpenquin.com, it works but no luck connecting to ameritech (I am using a Debian 2.2.17 system-by Libranet), when I start the pppoe program the final fourth light on my external modem lights up occasionaly until it time outs, I tried: ifconfig eth0, and it sees my ethernet card, I tried to ping the ameritech servers using ping, I got 'network unreachable', then if i reboot into windows and use Enternet 300(the pppoe program supplied by Ameritech) I can log in just fine.

HELP
