DSL Ethernet USB Combo Router + Internet Sharing
Hello,
I just bought a Aztech DSL305EU ADSL Ethernet USB Combo Router and
I'm having some difficulties to get it work with my fedora linux box.
In general, I like to make use of the DSL305EU built in firewall and of course to share internet access with other computers on my LAN.
The DSL305EU can be configured in such a way that it can get connected to the internet by just turning it on (hardware) as opposed to making the connection via adsl-start from my linux box.
I have a linux box with 2 NIC:
a) eth1 (internal network) with static IP: 192.168.0.1, which is connected to a hub.
b) eth0 (external network) with static IP: 192.168.0.5, which is connected to the DSL305EU
For my DSL305EU, I have the setting:
PPPoE LLC, Bridge Mode disabled and NAT enabled.
Static LAN IP: 192.168.0.20
Now, I have one laptop with IP: 192.168.0.8 connected to the hub mentioned above.
My question is, how can I get the laptop to access the 305EU (laptop -> hub -> linux box -> 305EU)?
(I tried and the bridge mode works, but I would prefer the PPPoE LLC mode).
Do I need to do some routing configurations, iptables , etc?
Please help me.... I would appreciate your help very much.
