i want to register a domain name for my server

like cnjcafe.com

whats the best site to go thru to get this

so that i can have any www.cnjcafe.com or mail.cnjcafe.com etc. etc.

and that wont ask me to sign up for othet bullshit

i just want that domain pointing to my server

whats the best site to go thru ? cheapest and least bullshit...

nevermind i went thru godaddy.com

anyone go thru there?

do they know how to make my domain name point to my linux server?

Well GoDaddy will register your domain name with them, during the registration process, you would need to give 2 nameservers for your domain. Alternatively you can use godaddy's own domain administration facility which is provided free of cost. You can use this to configure your MX entries, host entries etc.
