Does anyone have Freeserve Broadband and Mandrake 10

Can anyone help I have a partitioned drive and freeserve broadband
with the speedtouch usb modem. I can't connect to the internet with
Mandrake 10 although the modem two green lights are on. I've been googling and searching for days nothing works. Surely I can't be the only one whos got this problem? I can't even find evidence mandrake 10 works with freeserve broadband. Any help appreciated

You'll need to look around the net and find Alcatel Speedtouch drivers ( maybe?), then you'll need to install them. I'm not sure if the Mandrake drivers work or not.
You're luckier than me, Freeserve gave me a Copperjet 800, which is practically unusable under Linux, so I had to go and buy a Netgear router. On the bright side, at least now I have Wifi
