dnsmasq can't work
I'm trying to setup dnsmasq but I couldn't figure out how to recognize my local ip stations associate with hostnames. It won't recognize it.
I own a domain name :
I have 3 stations with following IPs :
station 1 (with 2 NICs): 126.96.36.199 (local) and IP from my ISP assigned
station 2: 188.8.131.52
station 3: 184.108.40.206
I use my station 1 as a gateway to Internet
DHCP can assign correctly the range of IP to my stations.
In my /etc/hosts :
220.127.116.11 st1 st1.mydomain.com
18.104.22.168 st2 st2.mydomain.com
22.214.171.124 st3 st3.mydomain.com
Here's the setup of my dnsmasq.conf:
after I restarted dnsmasq, I got this msg in /var/log/syslog
dnsmasq: ignoring nameserver 126.96.36.199 - local interface
What's that mean?
