DNS Servers
 
I have just set up mandrake single network firewall.
it's running at a command based level, with a html via apache front end.

How can i find out which DNS addresses have been specified by The DHCP server that is my cable modem....

Hmmm - you mean the IP addresses, right?
If so, you sould be able to configure your modem over a serial line or a web-browser interface, if it has a DHCP server. I'm sure the manual of your modem will tell

if you wanna see what your DNS resolution looks like, just do this:

cat /etc/resolv.conf

there ya go. :-)
