DNS pb localdomain/in has no NS records using Webmin ..help.. :(


I am using Webmin to set up my DNS server. I think I made a mistake. I removed something, thinking deleting a domaine I just created... I know ... I know...

Since I get this message each time I try to start the server

Failed to start BIND : Starting named: Error in named configuration: localdomain.zone:11: NS record '127.0.0.1' appears to be an address zone localdomain/IN: has no NS records _default/localdomain/IN: bad zone zone localhost/IN: loaded serial 42 zone 0.0.127.in-addr.arpa/IN: loaded serial 1997022701 zone 0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.0.ip6.arpa/IN: loaded serial 1997022700 zone 255.in-addr.arpa/IN: loaded serial 42 zone 0.in-addr.arpa/IN: loaded serial 42 zone intranet/IN: loaded serial 1120173845 [FAILED]

If I try the fedora Domaine Name Server in server settings.. I get

localdomain

/var/named/chroot/var/named/localdomain.zone:11 NS record '127.0.0.1' appears to be an address zone localdomain/IN: has no NS record

and the content of /var/named/chroot/var/named/localdomain.zone is

localhost.localdomain. IN A 127.0.0.1

localhost.localdomain. IN NS 127.0.0.1

The content of localhost.zone

1D ) ; minimum

IN NS @
IN A 127.0.0.1
IN AAAA ::1



Could you tell me how can I put back what I removed? so I can run the DNS server

I am using Fedora core 4 on a compaq presario ... wasnt easy but it works now
I am also using DHCP server .. works great too.
I use webmin 1.210

trick : for those who try to install fedora core 4 on a Compaq presario SR1120NX i type typed by mistake
linux acpi=off
and it worked... dont ask me why... i typed off by mistake .. i read i had to put on )
