DNS name registration problems with static IP

Hi,

I am trying to setup some linux servers that connect to 2 different networks. When I used DHCP to configure the network, the DNS name was properly set. We switched to a static IP and I am not sure how to get the name to get registered for DNS. Both networks use different DNS servers. We are using RedHat Linux version 3ES. Thanks in advance for any help.
