DNS lookup again before expiring TTL

My system configuration:
- Linux ver : 2.6.11.7 embedded linux

When target system dns query to server and receive effective ip address including ttl.
But next query about after 5 min. resolver lookup again even if the TTL did not expired yet.
Where can I find the source code and fix this problem ?

I think that you need to install a DNS caching mechanism on your client such as dnsmasq or a full DNS server such as bind that takes the TTL into account. A resolver doesn't do that.

I use dnsmasq for what you describe and it works well.
