dns in redhat linux 9.0
 

guys

when i tried dns on redhat linux 9 . i could'nt restart the dns server.
the message 'server is already running' like meesge appears.
in short i cannot stop the service.can any body suggest me a solution?

this works fine with redhat linux 8.0

Have you tried:

/etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart
