DNS Configure


I am using redhat 9

when I give the command : service named restart

stopping named: rndc:connecton failed: connection refused.............FAILED

How can i fix this error...

I have configured all dns files at "/etc/named.conf "...and also at /var/named diirectory..

Please suggest...

Are you performing the task as a user who is allowed to do so (i.e. root)?

there was a error at my /etc/named.conf file...

I have fixed it...
