DNS caching-only: where is the data cached?

Dear all,

I checked http://www.zytrax.com/books/dns/ch7/...max-cache-size (very good resource!!!), however I was only able to find the max-cache-size statement.

My questions:
1. Where does the data go??
2. Will the partition fill up completely if I don't specify a max-cache-size??

Regards.

I think you probably only know how to look up a man page on the Internet.
If you don't know how to answer apropiately, why don't you just go to some chat room?
