DMZ Zone...


hi all in my lan have 50 pcs
the server linux 192.168.0.1 have 2 network cards:
1) ppp0 for Adsl connection.
2) eth1 for Lan connection.

and have others pcs, 1 pc: 192.168.0.50 need configure in the DMZ zone, in other words: simulate connected directly to internet...

I think typically you need at the very least another network card. Here's a link of how to configure for Debian.

This one is a little outdated and uses IPchains (kernel 2.2) http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/IPCHAINS-HOWTO-7.html

I usually use fwbuilder to setup my firewall/NAT/Masquerade stuff.
