dlink dwl 650+
I was just curious as to if any one has gotten the dlink dwl 650+ to work with linux. I have a fresh install of Red Hat 9.0 and it won't work with that. Infact the card isn't even picked up
i used ifconf and it wasn't detected and usually if i use cardctl insert i hear the tones when the card is inserted but there were no tones with this card.
i've been reading some posts and i got my hands on the acx100_pci.o binary but when i tried to install it with insmod acx100_pci.o and i got the message that acx100_pci.o was compiled with gcc2 and my kernel was compiled with gcc3 and that wouldn't work.
most of the posts and information on the websites suggest that the acx100 is the driver for the TI chipset in the dwl 650+ but i can't seem to get it to work.
if anyone had any luck i would definitely appreciate some pointers.
p.s.
Finnegan this would be a great time for one of your usual stroke of brilliances
