Question Disabling proxy in apache server


Hi!
Can anybody tell me how to configure proxy settings for the apache server in Fedora core2 .I m running httpd service on FC2 and whenever i try to connect to it as http:/localhost it works fine , but when i connect as http:/172.17.3.1 which is my ip address it don't work.Also wen i disable the proxy in the mozilla it works fine.So pls tell me how to configure the settings for the httpd server.
