When i was using Knoppix and RedHat 9, everything was ok and i could connect
to the internet using my Ericsson Hm220 external modem.

But now when i switched to Mandrake i can't connect to the internet.
I tried to configure my connection in that DrakNetwork tool but it didn't work.

I'm using DHCP in Windows and DHCP worked well in
Knoppix and RedHat and i didn't have to configure anything,
everything is stored in the modem, but it doesn't work in Mandrake.

I also tried to copy my network config files from Red Hat into Mandrake but it didn't work either.

Is there a solution that can fix this problem??

Please help me, i like really like mandrake,
but if i'm not able to connect to the internet then it's not fun.

Exscuse my bad English,

Don't make the DHCP but try making them static by using the IP address in the Internet and Network setup wizard. That worked for me.
