Hi there do u know where i canb find the configuration files for dhcp clients? The server is already installed.
Dou know how i can tell something like this:
If u can find the dns server take the ip address that provides you.
If the dns server is not accessible then take a static ip (ex. 192.168.64.12)
try looking in the /var/lib/dhcp there should be a file that says dhcp.clients I think which holds all the settings but not sure if u able to do what u r asking for.
I have a problem with the DHCP RELEASE. It seems to me as if Fedora doesn't do a DHCP release before shutting down/rebooting. Anyone with any ideas? I need this to be done so that I can reuse the same hostname with a different IP.
