DHCP client error

Hi all,

I have Mandrake 8.2 Linux.

During the boot process, the system load everything ok, but wen it arrives at this: BRINGING UP INTERFACE: eth0

I get this message: Can't find dhcp client.

Can you one tell me what is wrong, I have a 3com ethernet card. I am trying to connect to the internet using my dsl line.

I use the same exact machine under windows and everything works ok.

check that your system does have a client installed somewhere... dhcpcd, pump, dhcpxd or dhclient. they would typically be in /sbin.
