dhclient not working - ip length disagrees with bytes recieved

I am trying to use dhclient to get an ip address from a wireless router. I had it working at one time and then moved my computer and when I set it back up I get a message that says ip length 314 disagrees with bytes recieved 534, accepting packet with data after udp payload. I can actually get an ip address from the router but when I try to ping the router it can't go through.

I am currently using WPA-PSK for encryption with the wireless network and had it working perfectly before but now it is broken I am using a RT2500 chipset connecting to a Netgear router. The router is working fine as a windows based laptop can connect.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Matt
