delay_pools stops working on -k reconfigure

Hi,
I am running an FC2 box with squid 2.5 stab 12. Have defined delay pools and they work as long as reconfigure is not issued to squid...when reconfigure is issued, the currently downlodings bypass the delay pools but the new one are caught in it...

Need to know any work around for delay pools not to by pass on issuing a squid reconfigure.

Any help is highly appreciated.

Regards,
Shehzad

Hi!
I found this

This is a know bug. See the bug database.

No solution for Squid-2.X at this time other than to restart Squid on
configuration changes when using delay pools. Squid-3.0 will handle
this better.

Hi,
I have been struggling to implement delay_pools on freebsd. My delay pools are not working at all. Could you please send me some pointers as to where to get this precompiled with delay pools. I have 3-4 times tried to ./configure --enable-delay-pools but I found that this is not enabled in the make file.
Your help on this shall be hihgly appreciated.
I am running squid on windows xp successfulyy to implement the delay pools.
